Great scenic, historic place to visit. Awesome gift shop with so much to choose from it's worth the stop. Prices are good and great stop for families. Tour guide was good at her job and explained things so the children of the group so they could understand. Highly recommended, will be going back again.
This place is a lot of fun. It's great to go to on hot days because the temperature in the caverns is steady regardless of the outdoor temperature. The natural structures are beautiful (don't touch them as it damages the natural stone). This isn't a place where you can explore freely as guided tours happen all day.
Lots of fun! I would love to go again and if been 3 times its alotof fun! And educational is a not chilly in the caverns so bring a light jacket!
Tour guide was rushing. Try not to get in back of tour or he will holler for you to catch up. They say you can take pics but with him rushing its hard to. The tour actually sucks. They don't really get scientific they just call out the names of these rock structures inside they named themselves. Its cool and beautiful, just ignore the guide and soak it in. he has no useful info
We had a good time at Linville Caverns. It's def not what I thought it would be. It's all right for the amount they ask though. It's kind of cool to go underground and see rocks and build up. It's well-lit until they turn the lights out on you in the end so you can see what other cave explorers experience. When you come out you have to wipe your feet on a Clorox mat so that you don't spread some kind of disease from bat so that's kind of creepy.
