We love that place! The river is great for taking a refreshing bath and the host was very friendly. We stayed at an tent site and had a lot of space.
This is a great place to stay. But unlike other review, we have been coming here for 5 yrs and know Ernie fairly well. He IS ONE OF THE NICEST GUYS YOU'D EVER WANT TO MEET UNLESS .... You do something to his campground or do not follow the rules to the tee!! Also if you upset another camper for no reason. i.e. we had a camper cutting through our site, we have 2 good dogs but when people cut on our site they really bark a lot, told Ernie, never happened again!! Ernie, Dean and Patricia are siblings who have worked & still do work VERY hard to make this a beautiful campground. They are all VERY nice people...just protective of campground & their reputation. We highly recommend this campground for relaxation and to be respected.
