Ordered oysters because reviews said that was their specialty. Should have ask the price....menu says market price....sorry not worth the price. :-(
Lady behind was arguing with a waiter about her meat not good on the sandwich. He was trying to tell her she was going to pay for it away......not the way to handle a paying customer. :-( He was very rude.
On their website it says they are open until four, on Google it says three. However when we showed up at 2:15 it was closed. This was on a Sunday. I wouldn't mind if their website said no seating after two. But we want out of our way to eat here for it just to be closed. The view looks great from the outside.

Great local restaurant off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Food is delicious; they use food from local farms. Staff is alright and views are tremendous!
This is the worst restaurant at which I have had the displeasure to eat. The waitstaff was very impolite and impersonal. The food was served at incorrect temperatures or burnt (don’t order a steak medium rare). Moreover, substitutions are not just frowned upon but met with such wanton animosity, I wasn’t sure wether to be apologetic, or dial 911. Additionally, the checks weren’t at all consistent and at this point I am not sure whose dinner I ended up buying! Finally, if all of these things are over-sites based in the infirmity of some character flaw I possess, I apologize; like the snickers commercial, I am not always myself when I am hungry and for that I once more will apologize. However, what I can not contend with was the ACTUAL PIECE OF GLASS IN MY CHICKEN WINGS?!?!?!?! I understand the rigors of working in a kitchen; I worked in a kitchen in college, but I can not even begin to understand a.) how this potentially life threatening situation could possibly occur and b.) how was the owner so negligent that they continued to serve food? I do not think I will ever be visiting this place again. Moreover, for the actual safety of yourself and families, I would be remiss if I did not hasten the reader of this post to do the same.

Excellent food!! Excellent service!! Enjoy sitting down to a good meal. Both daytime and evening cooks are great! I've enjoyed my meals, the beautiful views during all the seasons and I always ask for the same server, Brittany
